Alice + Olivia Chains of Metal Purse

Okay so here's the story about this bag. I volunteer in the Emergency Department at Cedar Sinai. I live 4 blocks from the hospital, exactly 0.3 miles away. Being that I am on the night shift (I leave anywhere from midnight to 2 am), I drive to the hospital rather than walk. Well, the one night I decided to walk, it costed me $400, and I was 15 minutes late. My route to the hospital takes me on Robertson Blvd., where there is an Alice + Olivia store. Well, I saw the bag in the window and I sat and admired it for about fifteen minutes. I became obsessed, I wanted it and I wanted it than. By the end of my volunteer shift, half of the employees were clearly aware of my current obsession with this bag. They even joked about having a pot for cash donations to be used toward the purchase of my bag. No, I did not walk away with any cash in hand to contribute to the bag.

  If you are trying to find that "original" and different purse, I have found it for you. It's a sharp looking bag, but boy does it weigh more than your kitchen sink. It's definitely an eye catching bag that will make heads turn. Perfect for showing off, and letting people know that you take fashion risks. Just be prepared for your shoulder to be a bit sore once you return home for the evening.

The Black Clutch

I have my black designer clutches, ranging from a small Balenciaga to a large Prada. Of course, the one I get the most use out of, is the clutch with the photos above. No, it did not cost a fortune, I bought it from ebay www.ebay.com for all of $6.  Years ago, I decided that I wanted an ordinary black clutch from NO designer brand name. I was wondering if my mission would be successful. This ordinary clutch, is the BAG I get the most compliments on. Just a little bit of research from ebay, and now I feel I have a desired bag by most. GO FIGURE!! Put away your designer bags, do a bit of reasearch and find an original bag that NO ONE has and perhaps you will begin to receive compliments on a no name brand bag that costs less than a pair of socks.

The Perfect Black Bag

If you are anything like me, you are a victim of your environment, wanting all the latest and greatest handbags. Wouldn't I love to open up my own "handbag" closet and have 50 black designer, high-end bags to choose from! Well if that dream can't be a reality, I have found the perfect bag at an affordable price. It is a versatile bag that can transition from daytime to nighttime wear.....it can even be used as a beach bag, if push come to shove. It's made from cotton, and it can be washed, so when you spill your morning cup of coffee on it, the world won't come to an end. And if you are crafty, you can get some fabric, get out your sewing machine and whip up this bag in a matter of a couple of hours. Let's be honest here, I never had a sewing machine, I will never own one and walking into any fabric store will give me a panic attack. So just a little bit a research to find this perfect black bag, and it arrived 3 days later. I am so exited that my days of finding the perfect black bag have come to an end. Now I can finally sleep....LOL.
